Maison Cosmetics US homepage
The challenge
Maison had a live German store with products, videos, collections, and internal links all working together. They needed it replicated into a new Shopify account, translated to English, and launched for the US market without losing assets or breaking SEO.
No native transfer
Shopify does not offer one-click cross-account migration with videos and links intact.
Translation risk
Theme content mixes text with formatting code. Naive translation breaks layouts.
Go-live pressure
The US launch could not afford missing products, broken videos, or 404s.
How we approached it
- Staging migration. Transferred products, images, videos, collections, pages, and redirects to a staging store with custom tooling.
- English translation. Translated theme content from German to English while preserving formatting and structure.
- Live launch and first-month review. Ran the migration pipeline to the final account on maisoncosmetics.com, verified the catalog, then tracked the first month of traffic, orders, sales, and conversion against the pre-launch baseline.
